The Braves' slow march toward the end of a season gone horribly wrong continued with a 7-3 loss Friday at Washington. Yunel Escobar became the first Brave in 53 years to ground into three double plays in the same game. Jorge Campillo couldn't make it through the fourth inning. Chipper Jones had a hit; he still leads the majors with a .358 average.
