For the first time in 1,087 days, Mike Hampton won a major-league baseball game, the oft-injured lefty firing seven sparkling innings as the Braves beat the Giants 11-4 in San Francisco. Hampton, who missed all of 2006 and 2007 with arm injuries, allowed just four hits and two runs in seven innings. Kelly Johnson went 3-for-3 for the Braves.
