Tim Hudson pitched great but Derek Lowe was outstanding, as the Braves could generate just two hits in losing the rubber game of a three-game series Wednesday at Los Angeles, 2-1. Hudson went seven strong innings. The only run for the Braves came on a Jeff Francoeur solo homer in the eighth. Atlanta falls to six games out in the NL East.
